Product description

Veterinary-approved dietetic food only to be used based on recommendation of a vet.

Royal Canin Urinary S/O is specially formulated with the needs of adult dogs with urinary issues in mind. It supports your dog by helping to dissolve all types of struvite stones that may have already formed. Royal Canin Urinary S/O in Gravy contains an exclusive formula that helps to dilute your dog's urine, making it less likely for struvite stones to form in the first place. This food is developed with Relative Super Saturation (RSS) methodology in mind. RSS methodology helps to reduce the ion concentration in your dog's urine. A urinary environment with a reduced concentration of ions makes crystal formation less likely. As part of the Royal Canin Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional.

Suitable for: Dogs from 12 months.

Not suitable for: Cases of growth, gestation/lactation.

Recommended for: Struvite uroliths: Dissolution and management of recurrence. Calcium oxalate uroliths: Management of recurrence. Bacterial cystitis: Management of secondary struvite crystalluria (in association with adequate antibiotherapy).

Not recommended for: Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). Heart disease (when sodium restriction is sought). Concurrent use of urine-acidifying medication.

Important information: This is a veterinary dietetic food and should only be used based on the recommendation of a veterinary professional. Please refer to the Care and Safety tab for further important information.

Royal Canin put the animal first in everything they do. Every decision they make is based on years of study in their own centre and on partnerships with veterinary schools, universities and breeders. The aim is always the same, to provide precise nutritional solutions to meet the needs of your pet. Those needs can be very different and one food does not suit all. Age, breed, size and lifestyle are all taken into account. Royal Canin were the first to meet the different needs of small, medium and large breeds, and to develop breed specific foods.
