Product description

Veterinary-approved dietetic food only to be used based on recommendation of a vet

Royal Canin put the animal first in everything they do. Every decision they make is based on years of study in their own centre and on partnerships with veterinary schools, universities and breeders. The aim is always the same, to provide precise nutritional solutions to meet the needs of your pet. Those needs can be very different and one food does not suit all. Age, breed, size and lifestyle are all taken into account. Royal Canin were the first to meet the different needs of small, medium and large breeds, and to develop breed specific foods.

Royal Canin Urinary S/O is specifically formulated with the nutritional needs of dogs with urinary sensitivities in mind. Royal Canin Urinary S/O helps to dissolve all types of harmful struvite stones that may form in your dog's bladder. It also helps to dilute your dog's urine, making it less likely for calcium oxalate stones and struvite stones to form in the first place. The utilisation of RSS methodology helps to lower the concentration of ion in your dog's urine, this in turn contributes to minimising the likelihood of bladder stones forming. As magnesium is also a natural component of struvite crystals, Royal Canin Urinary S/O is formulated with a reduced level of magnesium. As part of the Royal Canin Veterinary Range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional.

If you're considering mixed feeding, simply follow Royal Canin feeding guidelines to ensure your dog gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit.

Suitable for: Dogs from 12 months.
