Let us help you create the perfect safe haven for your Guinea Pigs. The Foxglove Guinea Pig Hutch is a picturesque hideaway ensuring your small animals are able to relax, play and sleep comfortably. This two storey hutch is made from water resistant, solid wood and features a fully waterproof asphalted roof, a raised living area for shelter from the elements with a mesh living quarters at the bottom to allow air and light into this spacious hutch. This hutch has a large covered top floor sleeping area with an idyllic circular window and a curved hole through to the other compartments which you can fill with bedding and hay for warm and cosy protection from the cold and wet British weather, it also has a ladder to the downstairs area and bolted doors and hatches for safety. The wooden mesh windows provide enough light and air into the hutch for a comfortable living space along with a spacious height. Remember, your pets need plenty of exercise to stay healthy, so be sure to give them extra space to play. Pets love the great outdoors, and they should spend most of the day stretching their legs, running around, grazing and playing.
This product will be shipped to you flat packed in 2 boxes. Box 1 weighs approx. 15kg, measuring approx. 91.5cm high, 70.5cm wide and 10cm deep. Box 2 weighs approx. 20kg, measuring approx. 157cm high, 65cm wide and 14cm deep.

How to use:
It is best to ensure that your hutch is in a safe, sheltered position before introducing your pet to their new home. To provide the best for your pets we encourage you to enrich your hutch with accessories such as wooden toys and hideaways to help nurture and comfort your pets and ensure they are entertained.
Product Care: Treat between seasons with animal safe, water based treatment. Please ensure that you follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Regular cleaning will prolong the life of the hutch. Don't forget, you can protect your pet, and prolong the life of your hutch even further by fitting one of our Showerproof or Thermal Hutch Covers.
Warnings and Safety: Small animals lead active lives and as pets, need plenty of stimulation. Under-stimulated pets may show behaviours such as cage chewing, and over-using some toys such as wheels. Ensure that you provide an enriching and stimulating environment for your pet with places to burrow or dig and a variety of toys & chews that are changed often. They will also usually benefit from regular exercise in a safe and secure area outside of their cage.
CAUTION Protection for your pet from extreme weather conditions and potential predators is essential, please consider the location of their home and protect appropriately. For your pet's safety, examine the hutch from time to time for wear and tear and replace when appropriate. Do not allow children to use the hutch as a play thing.
WOOD PRODUCT: Natural wood products have the potential of splintering and should be regularly checked and removed immediately if excessive signs of damage is noted. For safety reasons, please ensure that when fitting a pet water bottle (sold separately), the bottle is fitted on the exterior of the hutch with the nozzle directed to the inside.
