The Den Guinea Pig hutch is a purpose-built, durable construction designed to securely house your small animals and help you to create a comfortable environment for your pet, whilst protecting them from predators.
Designed with a divided sleeping area behind a solid door, this hutch provides a quiet, concealed area for your Guinea Pigs rest and hideaway needs. The double door design is easily accessible, so you can get your pet Guinea Pigs out to play effortlessly.
The second door is equipped with galvanized, rust-resistant 1”x 1/2” wire mesh which prevents pests from entering whilst creating a well-lit and airy play space. The wire mesh design also means that you have visibility of your small animal, so you can keep an eye on your Guinea Pig, giving you peace of mind. Finally, each door is finished with hinge locks, this secure locking mechanism prevents escapes and ensures their security, keeping them safe from potential threats.
This remarkable product is proudly crafted by the Hutch Company in Britain and bears the registration number 1210. Some home assembly is required. This product will be shipped to you flat packed in 1 box which weighs approx. 7.9kg, measuring approx. 121cm high, 45cm wide and 45cm deep.

How to use:
To provide the best for your pets we encourage you to enrich your hutch with accessories such as wooden toys and hideaways to help nurture and comfort your pets and ensure they are entertained. It is best to ensure that your hutch is in a safe, sheltered position before introducing your pet to their new home. Provide plenty of absorbent bedding, food, water, and toys etc.
Remember, your pets need plenty of exercise to stay healthy, so be sure to give them extra space to play. Pets love the great outdoors, and they should spend most of the day stretching their legs, running around, grazing and playing. Our Guinea Pig Runs (sold separately) are the ideal solution to help keep them fit in a safe and secure environment. Guinea Pigs should permanently have access to a run or secure garden area.
Product Care: Regularly check fastenings are secure. Treat between seasons with animal safe, water based treatment. Please ensure that you follow the manufacturer's instructions carefully. Regular cleaning will prolong the life of the hutch. Deep clean twice weekly and spot check daily. Don't forget, you can protect your pet and prolong the life of your hutch even further by fitting one of our Showerproof or Thermal Hutch Covers (not included).
Warnings and Safety: Do not use to house rabbits. For your pet's safety, examine the hutch from time to time for wear and tear and replace when appropriate. Do not allow children to use the hutch as a play thing. For safety reasons, please ensure that when fitting a pet water bottle (sold separately), the bottle is fitted on the exterior of the hutch with the nozzle directed to the inside.
