This Training Clicker by Just for Puppy is a fun way to reward train your puppy with a popular and easy method of dog training, so this will make it enjoyable for the both of you. Made from a highly visible plastic in an ergonomic shape, it is comfortable to grab and hold whilst in use. The additional wrist band makes it easy to carry too. The black clip can be used to attach to belts, or fits comfortably in a pocket.
The click sound are clear and easy to grab your dog's attention. It is a great tool no matter the age of your pet, as they are sound-sensitive which makes hearing clear for dogs, cats, and even birds and horses. However it is useful to train during early years, especially if teaching your pet to sit, heel, fetch, or lie down. Training with clickers is also much safer than using a electrical shock strap. How to use:
Clicker training is a popular, fun and reward based method to train your puppy. However, it is important that it is done correctly so please follow the tips below:
- A click must always be followed by a reward in the initial training stages. If you accidentally click you must still reward.
- We suggest that you position the clicker behind your back or by your side.
- To build effectiveness, only ever use the clicker to tell your puppy that they have done the right thing.
- Only perform one click for each correct behaviour and ensure that the click follows the exact moment your puppy performs the intended behaviour.
- Train for short periods and repeat the sessions a few times a day to build the effectiveness.
