This digital hygrometer is equipped with a remote sensor for accurate measurement of air humidity and durability. This precision instrument comes with a programmable minimum and maximum memory setting which can be controlled with one single button. The sensor is held in place with a suction cup, while the instrument can be mounted in three ways - with hook and loop fastening (included) with a screw or it simply slides into place on an Exo Terra Compact Top or Dual Top Canopy. Maintaining the proper temperature and humidity levels in a terrarium is vital for the well being and health of all reptiles and amphibians.

How to use:
Operating Instructions:
1. Slide the battery door open and insert one "AG13" / "LR44"battery as indicated.
2. Press the MIN/MAX button once to display the maximum relativehumidity readout.
3. Press the MIN/MAX button twice to display the minimum relativehumidity readout.
4. Press the MIN/MAX button 3 times to return to the current relativehumidity readout.
5. Press the button for 2 seconds to reset the minimum and maximumrelative humidity.
Installation Instructions: Make sure that the remote sensor wire will reach the desired location in the terrarium before mounting the unit. Option 1: Use the hook and loop fastener (included) to install the unit on the outside the terrarium. Option 2: Use rail-mount to slide the unit into an Exo Terra Compact Top.
Remote Sensor Placement: Single hygrometers: Choose a suitable central location within theterrarium, away from the terrarium lighting or heating systems. Multiple hygrometers: Position one sensor in the driest and one in the most humid location of the terrarium. Avoid direct heat from heating or lighting systems.
Warnings and Safety: Battery Keep out of reach of children. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If swallowed, a button battery can cause serious injuries or even death. If you think batteries may have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
