This drinking fountain is cat-like in appearance, highly ergonomic and user-friendly. PIXI's little paws make the fountain easy to pick up for refills, while the cute ears help prevent water spills and splashes. The top plate also includes a saucer area, providing access to water when the fountain is not running. Even PIXI's nose and whiskers are super convenient and serves as a backlit water level window. PIXI's clever backlit LED light flashes red when water is low and stays red when it's out of water. Catit developed the fountain to feature 3 different settings: a gentle water flow, a bubbling top, or calm streams. The BPA-Free plastic reservoir has a 2.5L capacity and the intelligent pump shuts down when out of water to prevent damage. The fountain provides your cat with a continuous source of fresh, filtered water. Running water encourages cats to drink more, which helps prevent urinary tract diseases. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable drinking position for your cat which reduces stress on their whiskers. The included filter removes debris, odours and impurities from your cat's drinking water. In addition, the water is softened by reducing magnesium and calcium levels. This fountain comes with 1 x Catit PIXI Triple Action Filter (replacement filters sold separately). Please note: This product can help to reduce the risk of urinary tract infections but it is not designed to cure any disease or illness.

How to use:
Make sure that the surface underneath your cat fountain is sturdy and completely level. Place your fountain on the floor, not on a table or a countertop. Change the water every 24 hours to provide fresh water for your cat. Replace the filter every 30 days, or change the filter if it becomes visibly saturated.
Product Care: PIXI Fountains are advised to be cleaned weekly. Unplug the fountain, empty the reservoir while holding the top firmly in place. Remove the top and lift the filter tray. Remove slimy buildup with a paper towel. Rinse all fountain parts with water. Remove the filter from the tray and rinse separately (never use soap on the filter). For a more thorough cleaning, use dish soap and a soft cloth, rinse abundantly. Clean the pump at least once every 2 months.
