Rid your fish of ich quickly and effectively with API White Spot Cure Fish Medication. API White Spot Cure Fish Medication works quickly, typically within the first 24 hours, to heal fish of icthyophthirius ("Ich") or Cryptocaryon, a highly contagious parasitic diseases. Ich, also called white spot disease, is a destructive, microscopic parasite that burrows into gill and skin tissue, causing severe damage and secondary infections. Early symptoms include white spots, darting and scratching against surfaces while more advanced stages can cause laboured breathing. This fish treatment not only helps cure Ich, but it also provides a synthetic slime coat that helps protect against secondary infection, where the natural slime coating of the fish has been disturbed by the parasite. Use at the first sign of 'Ich' or white spots.

How to use:
Remove activated filter carbon from filter and continue aeration. Add 5 ml per 20 litres of aquarium water. Repeat dose after 48 hours. Wait another 48 hours then change 25% of the aquarium water and add fresh activated carbon. Treatment may be hastened by raising the temperature to 27°C C. CAUTION: Some scaleless fish are sensitive to this medication, so treat them with 1/2 the normal dose. Corals and invertebrates may be sensitive to this medication. It is not recommend usage in reef aquariums or any freshwater or saltwater aquarium with invertebrates. This medication will cause a slight discolouration of water which can be easily removed by adding activated carbon to the filter. Dose according to directions on product packaging and label. This treatment can be used in freshwater or saltwater aquariums.
