Tap water contains chlorine, chloramines and ammonia which can cause gill and tissue damage, breathing difficulty, stress and death. API Aqua Essential Tap Water Conditioner works instantly as a water conditioner to remove chlorine and chloramines from tap water and neutralize heavy metals.
Ammonia is continually released by fish through their gills, urine, solid waste, uneaten food and decaying organic matter, small amounts of ammonia stress fish; large amounts of ammonia will kill fish. Additionally, nitrites inhibit respiration and suppress the immune system at low levels, while high levels cause suffocation whilst nitrates can be harmful to fish and lead to algae growth. The API Aqua Essential Tap Water Conditioner removes toxic ammonia, nitrites, and nitrates to restore a healthy aquatic environment.

How to use:
Using dosing cap on bottle, add 5 ml. per 189 L of aquarium water to treat tap water. Add 5 ml. per 38 L of aquarium water to remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. 1 x API Aqua Essential Water Conditioner 237ml bottle; treats up to 9006L of water. Use when adding or changing water, and when ammonia, nitrates or nitrites levels test high. No risk of overdosing. it is recommend to conduct a water change after 24hrs and before re-dosing aquarium. This product does not affect pH.
