The Whelping Box is made from a strong, double walled corrugated cardboard. The boxes are designed to be disposable after uses to avoid the risk of cross contamination on subsequent whelps. They are supplied complete with a water resistant treated cardboard base that you place in the bottom of the box and the option of a white fleece bedding cut to size. The product includes 3 puppy rails, made from 21mm wooden dowel. The rails are designed to reduce the risk of the pups being rolled on by the mum as they offer a safe haven for the pups to wriggle to. Strong double corrugated cardboard construction. Fold down entry flap. Hygienic (simply discard after use to avoid cross contamination) Flat packed to reduce packaging costs
Not sure what size you need? The best way to be sure of the right size is to measure the mum-to-be from nose to base of tail (where the tail meets the body). Add 4 inches to this if you are going to use the puppy rails, and then select the size box that will allow her to lay flat along one side. Its usually the next size box up from the measurement you have taken.

How to use:
Simply unpack. Pull out the bottom sides of the box. Tape the bottom up using parcel tape (Not supplied). Add the additional Base layer. Fix the rails inside using supplied fixings. If you have purchased a Petnap Fleece bottom add this inside to the base. Full instructions are supplied with the box.
